Inflation already impacting US troops

Posted on Updated on

The US is already being hit by inflation, partly as a result of the 1 trillion dollars of “artificial money” pumped into the economy. Troops in Europe receive a COLA (cost of living allowance) to make up for the fact that the cost of living is higher in Europe than back in the states. Troops can expect to lose about $200 per month.  As prices rise relative to those in Europe, COLA will continue to drop.

It always seems like a Democrat administration means a beating about the head and shoulders to soldiers in subtle but meaningful ways. I thought Democrats supported the troops?

The COLA is meant to give troops living overseas a similar life-style to those living in the States. This shows that quality of life is falling in the States as prices rise.
