How can we do better than this?

Paul’s definition of love, to the Corinthians….

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I know it is getting off topic but I was watching a Vietnam documentary a month or so back and something a Vet said just won’t get out of my head. I won’t get the words exactly right but he basically said that he was never in a fox hole with another guy that did not believe in God.

Yup. That’s an old saying: “There are no atheists in foxholes.”
