Democrats appeal to God

Video Posted on Updated on

They’ll laugh, they’ll snicker. And I’ll keep trudging through the streets carrying my sign: “The End is Near!” We are a dying society. As faith in God has disintegrated, so has knowledge of good and evil. The agnostic and atheist elites will analyze, but will not find the cold, mathematical formula they seek to explain our disintegration, except to say in the form of a new social program. Here, uber-liberal Democrats find in their hearts to call out to God–and thank him for access to abortion. Nietzsche’s Transvaluation of Values is nearly complete, but not quite. As in Sodom and Gomorrah, God was willing to save a city from destruction should there be a very small percent of people whom remained righteous. America remains the most faithful Western nation in existence, which isn’t saying mush at this point in time.

America’s time is coming. We are walking on slippery rocks. Just as the great sermoneer, Jonathan Edwards quoted:

Their foot shall slide in due time,  Deuteronomy 32:35.

If we continue, and we probably will, one day we will look around and wonder how our great cities became smoldering ash, whether in metaphor or in reality. In due time, when God has had enough.

50 million abortions a year. The great shift toward matriarchal society has wrought annihilation of which Mao, Hitler and Stalin would be proud. Men have made war against armed men. The modern feminist has picked up the sword against a dreaming child. Disintegrating family structures. Voting trends are already showing the results of massive demographic changes. Fact: Immigrants and Blacks vote for more government. They will not stop. They’re world view tells them that government makes and enables life. And just as the prophets of old heard from the people they warned: “We’ve heard the warnings before, shut up and go away”, many will ignore the obvious, that America cannot continue down the road it’s on. Spending is a moral issue. Those whom chronically take more than they earn have a moral problem. We as a people have a moral problem. A nation of consumerism, hedonism, nihilism, socialism. We better find more theism.

Progressivism is a religion. It’s Super-Protestantism ..that’s a WW2 self-description, and before that the chain runs to the Dissenters. The Puritans.

The Great Break comes with the squalling coup of the Boomers in the 60s. That wasn’t a revolution, it was a temper tantrum by Brats.

They are dying, hence they seek to pull all down with them. They’ve pretty much succeeded with the finances.

Now to the good news: We the People do not reflect our elites.

Which is another reason for them to hate us. Of course they did already, and have done us great harm.

However we the People still have our morals and values intact underneath, a moral core and indeed great bulk of We.The.American.People are still quite strong, despite relentless assaults.

A bias for A shall bring about all the Bs.

Nothing is needed except to clearly face the hard truths, which you did above, and then decide to keep our sacred Oaths.

Any analysis of how we are governed would conclude that our governance radically changed in 1933. I would contend we have administrative government, and that both democracy and the Old Republic were supplanted by the New Deal.

I would have the Law and History on my side in this contention.

Mere keeping to our Oaths is enough for A and all the Bs.

Mind you a rethinking of the franchise to the responsible and the informed is in order, however that is a B lister.

I understand your point and agree, but the debate between Theism and Atheism has raged for centuries with no resolution. The balance shifted to the Atheists somewhere around the end of WW II, perhaps with the rise of the Boomers. Certainly with the decline of Theism our society has coarsened while any concept of sin or immorality has eroded. I’m not sure of the basic cause but I think it can be tied to the rise of what I can “faith based science”. By this I mean that God was rejected out of hand because His existence cannot be proved empirically but scientists believed explanations would be found for all of those hard questions about the origin of life and the universe. They could never prove that God doesn’t exist but believe science will eventually be able to show that God is a myth — hence my conclusion that this is faith based science. Unfortunately once God was driven from our lives and government the concept of sin was driven out as well. Our society as a whole is living unhappy lives — wallowing in “truth” and “science” and “rights” without wondering why they aren’t happy.

I normally agree with you Doug, but this time, I’ve got to disagree with most of it. I think a long time ago I saw that you had spent some time in Greenville (downtown coffee house if memory serves) – spend any time down here and tell me you still think Religion is a good thing. I went to Catholic school most of my life, graduated from a Catholic college and I pretty much despise organized religion, pretty much exclusively from living in the South for 12 years. Scientifically, it’s hard for me to get my hands around the issue of an abortion. A 2 year old chimpanzee is more human than any fetus yet many treat a week old fetus as though it’s the same as an adult (in the Fundy Christian side, they care about it much more) – it’s not nothing, but it’s also not a bonafide human being either. Natural abortions happen all the time – God seems to have no issue there. Women and Children die in childbirth (still) quite often, god has no issue there. Kids die of starvation right after being born, god has no issue with that. So I don’t buy he has some huge issue with abortion. The matriarchal society is another thing altogether, modern feminism and govt policy created that though.

America will fall someday, all great nations do, but all the Roman Empire metaphors miss the most important difference. As long as we keep importing lots of smart hard working guys from India, China, Japan, Korea….. we’ll be the last ones standing. Things are screwed up here, but it’s hard to see where they are less screwed. Even if they where they’re less screwed, they don’t have the military to defend it. I’m betting the over on the US

I’m going to sound really piggish here, but I think I’ll get a pass from this audience – It’s beyond cliche at this moment, like an inverse Carlin, but no one is going to tell me any of them has any problem with needing an abortion, hmm, hmm, Or ever did. And the Mangina on the right with the serious looking prayer face – what’s his deal.

Well some of this prayer ceremony is the modern Prog deep seated Hubris, and hence the need to humiliate their opponent.

Magus bet on America. Seriously. Look at America with the cold blooded view of an enemies Intelligence. You will conclude Americas problems are all rooted in leadership, the elites. If you doubt this remember these elites have sold their offices and oaths – to enemies.

A precedes all B’s. A bias for action enables all the rest.

Abortion is the Eucharist of Matriarchal society and Feminism’s Tophet. No transubstantiation for them. Most religions require blood sacrifice, part of Christianity’s considerable genius is making it bread and wine instead of flesh and blood.

To some extent agree wth you. On abortion — to me at least — there is a big difference between a vountary abortion in the first trimester and the third. I do support choice but I think some limits on late term is not unreasonable. I also believe in America but I am a history buff as well and the parallels to Rome are there. Our congress has become corrupt, our judicial system is more and more politiciized, our military is over stressed, and our leaders are less and less capable. Nevertheless compared to the rest of the world we remain the best of the lot. A strong dose of reality might help restore some of the sorely needed sense of morality and shame

Bill, why did teen suicide rates triple from 1960-1990? Society is systemically unhappy.

As TS Eliot said, Not with a bang, but a whimper.

There’s a lot of people looking for this. I’ll teach my kids this, the leftists and atheists can teach what the Iowa Democrats are teaching. “And if it seem evil to some of you to serve the Lord, than choose this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” ~Samuel 24:15

The rot is in the elites. Yes they spread their social diseases through the mass media.

However: in terms of geography, natural resources, the basic goodness of the people, and militarily not just the worlds best funded and probably best military….which of course has built up a lot of small unit combat skill and experience the last 12 years….but also a deep reservoir of martial manpower still, we are in a good position.

The people are good, I didn’t say reality TV. Before it starts…

Look we have foul creatures who HATE their own country [they’d deny it’s their country] who have the reigns of an administrative government, that is to say the New Deal. The only check under the New Deal is the virtue of the Administrators. There is none. The unhappiest man you’ll ever talk to is the virtuous person in DC. MISERABLE.

A bias for A shall lead us to all the necessary B’s….

50 million abortions? At what point does any responsibility pass to the female having the abortion? Is a fetus like trash, that we just have to keep heaping out into the back alley?

Russia now has more abortions than babies born per year. Russia, a civilization in collapse. Russia is long almost 1 million of its population per year, trends that will disable all modern social programs as we know them in about a decade. How many of these abortions do we suppose are legitimate in nature, threatening the mother’s life or very early in the pregnancy?

We’re not sworn to defend Russia. Although I think it’s a tragedy.

Abortion is an existential threat to America. The number one existential threat, we’re ceasing to exist.

Magus you do realize what you are calling Democrat is actually Progressive, and who the Progs are right?

They’re the Roundheads of Cromwell. This isn’t a metaphor, it’s the bloodline. They can never relent [it’s not just life and livelihood, it’s GOD]. And they turned 50 years ago against the host, America. Which they have found wanting and seek to destroy.

The madness is in no small part due: in ever escalating holier than thou 50 years ago they became holier than the God of their forefathers. As late as WW2 they were calling themselves Super-Protestants.

So – No Peace. It’s not possible.

“And the Mangina on the right with the serious looking prayer face – what’s his deal.”

He has clear symptoms of low testosterone. He’s surrounded by women with lesbian/feminist/atheist-complex haircuts, and has to look solemn, less he receive an ass-whuppin and denial of sex for the next 18 months.
