Again, wake up America. Stop blaming the police.

Posted on Updated on

This website is henceforth dedicated to police everywhere, who stand in front of encroaching chaos, and don’t even have the backing of a society that’s killing itself.

The decent into mob rule is approaching quickly. Our society is nuts. Watch this video. Just a sliver of what cops deal with. How would you deal with it?

This is an interesting topic. Most of my life I was pretty ‘pro-cop’. I felt that even when cops went over the line, it was (in my case) deserved. I went too far the other direction and you had pointed me to several things that changed my perspective. I think it’s an overstatement to say “Stop blaming police”. In each case here, I’l completely agree with you. In the high profile cases of late, i think the reaction has been taken over by opportunists. The video you posted from the police chief was simply brilliant. Yet there are too many cases where contempt of cop, or perceived contempt of cop leads to death or serious injury and I’ve seen way too many recently that aren’t justified. The one area that comes to mind is when someone is having a diabetic coma, is hearing impaired or the like and that interferes with the ability to establish a command presence. There’s a balancing act and it’s very easy to monday morning QB what the police do and yes, if police didn’t have to deal with scumbags all the time we wouldn’t have near the problem with brutality we do. On the other hand, there are a lot of examples of complete overreaction or completely unfair reaction that lead to people getting killed or beat up and when that happens, decent folk get treated completely different from the police in terms of the legal system That said I think the argument ‘stop blaming police’ is a much stronger position than the opposite and a lot of the police critics are cheap opportunists – I just have to make sure to not read Police One b/c 2 minutes of reading that sites will turn anyone that’s not in law enforcement ‘anti-cop’ 😉

Why was I sued twice as a police officer, but never as a private citizen?
